Six years in, the redbikini video production brand needed a little love. Alice worked on the redbikini brand while employed there as Writer, distilling a suite of services into six core offerings and leaning away from the saturated storytelling market, toward the lesser known branded content niche. Throughout all of the copy, Alice produced a new brand voice which honestly reflects the values and the practices of the business; it’s colloquial, sharp, and best of all, it doesn’t take itself too seriously.
State Theatre Company
State Theatre Company’s 2016 season featured The 39 Steps, a revamp of Hitchcock’s famous man-on-the-run film. A jarring and unique combination of noir thriller and slapstick humour, the challenge was to accurately portray a performance without precedent. Working as a Writer with production agency redbikini, Alice built the creative concept of the 30 second one-take-wonder, embracing a chaotic, action-based synopsis and 1930s style tropes.

Online content series
SA Health, in conjunction with The University of South Australia, needed to speak directly to students, parents and principals, encouraging the community to get behind a new Meningococcal B vaccine Global Immunity Study. Set in the streets, homes and classrooms of Adelaide, this commercial condenses statistic-rich subject matter into a concise and informative 30 second video. Alice worked as part of the redbikini team to deliver the necessary information in a visually engaging way.
Tosca was State Opera’s final production for the 2016 season. Following on from the bold production of Tim Winton’s Cloudstreet, the main focus was on simultaneously appealing to the dual demographics of modern and traditional. While working with production agency redbikini, Alice developed a concept hinged on the key motif of artwork, layering out-of-the-box painting and filming techniques over a projection of existing production footage.
The Adelaide Casino
Speaking to a distracted audience in a noise-polluted environment, the challenge was to attract attention and communicate a simple message: Adelaide Casino is open 24 hours. Using purely visual messaging, Alice developed a concept while employed by redbikini video production agency which featured the numbers 2, 4 and 7 displayed prominently at various attractions within the venue, intercut with time-lapse reference points to communicate around the clock hours.
